From June 21 to 25, 2024, on the occasion of the 32nd World Convention of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad organized by Assocamerestero at the Brixia Forum, CMG will have the honor of meeting the Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Chile. An ambitious collaboration project is underway that will have a significant impact on companies in Latin America, allowing emerging countries to access quality resources to improve their business practices and increase their global competitiveness. In 2024, ISO standards continue to play a fundamental role for many companies around the world: based on consensus, they offer shared rules of conduct, facilitate the dissemination of best practices, contribute to the rapid transmission of innovation, and promote global trade. Thanks to regular updates, their possible integration aimed at improving efficiency and reducing duplication of efforts, and the focus on sustainability to demonstrate commitment to the environment, technical standards play a crucial role in supporting the global economy, creating trust in all aspects of international trade. Especially for Latin American countries that are undergoing an important phase of transformation, resulting both from changes in the international scenario and from regional economic and political trends, voluntary standards offer several benefits.
