CMG will hold the webinar Whistleblowing Management System – Guidelines aimed at members of Assocompliance, the National Association for Compliance with Rules, to present the new ISO 37002:2021 standard.
The standard aims to help organizations implement, evaluate, maintain, and improve a whistleblowing management system. ISO 37002 enables the implementation of a reporting system consistent with the international standard and with the provisions of EU Directive 2019/1937.
The implementation of the whistleblowing directive introduces numerous changes to the current legislation, meaning that companies subject to the new obligations will need to revise their whistleblowing systems and establish new reporting channels in addition to those already adopted.
In this context, ISO 37002 represents a valuable collection of recommendations proposing best practices regarding report management and the reliability of the communication channel.
The new ISO 37002 provides voluntary guidelines to support organizations wishing to implement a whistleblowing management system. The standard allows organizations to build an internationally recognized framework that includes all best practices for the development and implementation of a solid and effective reporting system.
The purpose of this webinar is to present the ISO 37002 standard and the new developments introduced by the EU Directive. We will illustrate the different applications of the ISO 37002 standard such as:
- a standalone management system;
- an integrated system to address whistleblowing requirements requested by other ISO management systems;
- an additional integration tool between the Organizational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and the PTPCT pursuant to Law 190/2012.
