The new ISO/TS 37008 has recently been published, providing guidance on Internal Investigations within Organizations.

The topic is closely linked to UNI ISO 37002 on whistleblowing, as well as Legislative Decree 24/2023 issued in implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

The standard introduces new perspectives for the protection of whistleblowers in Italy, unifying the regulations for both the public and private sectors, creating a clear and defined regulatory framework.

This is all connected to the national UNI draft standard UNI1611084 currently under development within the UNI/CT 016/GL 09 working group “Governance of organizations”, entitled “Guidelines for the integration of the compliance management system according to UNI ISO 37301:2021 in support of Organizational, Management and Control Models and Supervisory Bodies in compliance with Legislative Decree 231/2001”.
