Sostenibilità europea
CMG Swiss at the Webinar on Omnibus Regulation and European Sustainability CMG Swiss participated in the webinar “Journey Towards Sustainability – The Omnibus Regulation Stop,” held on April 2, 2025, and promoted by ANIMA Confindustria and ICIM Consulting. The event provided an important platform for discussion on legislative developments related to European sustainability, with a particular focus on the Omnibus Regulation and its impact on the business world. During the session, participants examined the new regulatory framework introduced by Omnibus I and II, changes to the CSRD-ESRS system, the evolution of the EU Taxonomy, and the postponement of deadlines for the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Additional attention was given to the new VSME standards for SMEs, including an in-depth analysis of the risks and opportunities arising from these changes, such as materiality, governance, assurance, and ESG ratings. Thanks to contributions from industry experts—including legal auditors and sustainability specialists—it was possible to explore the growing role of soft law and voluntary compliance tools within the European context. Through this participation, CMG Swiss strengthens its active presence in the European sustainability debate, reaffirming its commitment to providing clients with practical and up-to-date support on governance, compliance, and sustainable transition topics. 👉 For further details, the full presentation is available on the official websites of ANIMA and ICIM Consulting.
