UNI 11883:2022 COURSE TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

The topic of compliance is set to open up new and stimulating perspectives, which can take standardization beyond the established boundaries of management into areas typically associated with CEOs, investors, and boards of directors; create new opportunities for the development of advanced Organizational, Management and Control Models (MOG); and promote new functions and professional roles as added-value elements for organizational transformation. These new compliance roles are responsible for ensuring adherence and the continuous verification of adequacy within the compliance management system. They ensure both continuity, understood as the company’s ability to pursue its objectives, and sustainability, as full alignment with its ethical values, in compliance with stakeholders’ expectations.

OBJECTIVES

The objective of this course is to support organizations in developing and spreading a positive culture of compliance, considering that an effective and well-structured management of compliance-related risks is an opportunity to be pursued and seized, in light of the numerous benefits it brings, such as: compliance with mandatory legal obligations and voluntary standards that the organization must or chooses to follow; increased business and sustainability opportunities within the ESG (Ethics, Governance and Sustainability) framework; protection and enhancement of the organization’s reputation and credibility; consideration of stakeholders’ expectations; demonstration of the organization’s commitment to managing compliance risks effectively and efficiently; increased trust from third parties in the organization’s ability to achieve sustained success; minimization of violation risks that may result in costs and reputational damage.
